[Electric Boats] Re: new lithium battery breakthrough?

 

Panel efficiencies are getting much higher. Commercial panels are now available in the 20's and U of Michigan's solar car is using high tech panels that are  in the 30's. It won't be long before they are widely available which will drastically change the 'area needed' argument.
