Yes, I would agree gasoline is the most available and in my northern climate it's also the lowest cost. I was looking for the effenciey in using propane.

A consideration to take into account before conversion is fuel availability. From my experiemce gasoline is probably the most available and easily transportable fuel to use. For a cruising electric boat it probably makes tjhe most sense today. But, a multifuel generator would be a nice thing to have too.

Any idea what the run time and cost difference of running propane rather than Gasoline? I wonder if you could run hydrogen as well.

I run my honda on propane. cleans up the fumes.
