[Electric Boats] Electric Outboards: A New How-To Handbook is Available

 

A new online handbook "Electric Outboard Drive for Small Boats" is now available for viewing and download at: http://www.electricoutboardhandbook.com/

This free, 43-page handbook is for do-it-yourself recreational boaters who are interested in installing electric outboard drive on their 12'-20' boat. It covers various models of electric outboards, batteries, wiring, hull efficiency, system design and installation.

It was written by a self-taught electric boat enthusiast living near Bend, Oregon (myself). It was reviewed for accuracy by Todd Sims, ABYC-certified marine electrician of E-Power Marine in Boynton Beach, Florida.

We hope this handbook will be a useful and enjoyable read!
