Re: [Electric Boats] newbe question

Hi Joe,
I owned a sister to yours many years ago. As I recall, the centerboard
trunk is very long and it would interfere with an inboard installation
unless the shaft angle was very steep. I suppose an off-center shaft
would work, but that raises issues of its own.
These boats have a great hull, but a pretty sad centerboard and rudder.
Ours was much improved by replacing both.

Probably not what you want to hear, but unless you're looking for a way
to spend time and money, I'd go with a trolling motor or Torqeedo.
