[Electric Boats] Re: Building an electric hybrid boat, need help

Two propulsion systems in a 16' boat is going to be a lot of weight and won't leave a lot of room for passengers. Some questions to ponder: What is the type of water you'll be in (lake, river, open)? What will you use the boat for (skiing, fishing, sightseeing)? What's the top speed you want? What's the shape of the hull (planing or displacement)?
