John,

Another thought. Wellcraft and other boat manufacturers have bought the rights to smaller craft manufacturers such as Logic boats which are roto molded out of plastic, as you may well know. If you put your brain to it I think you could come up with a successful business plan that a manufacturer of larger boats would embrace in this economic time. Mike Scruggs was the president of Wellcraft back in 2000 or so and a really nice guy. I knew him down in the Fl Keys. A boat like yours might just do great down there in the flats, which is about everywhere around there. The company is based in Sarasota, Fl. Why don't you try to email him and arrange for a phone conversation about your idea. If he is still in charge, he may be interested or give you some good advice. He worked his way up from the "bottom" of the company so he knows all the aspects of building a successful product and yours seems to be one of them. Low manufacturing cost and decent profit margin sem to be your boats strong points vs. $17,000 hull and $18,000 motor to fish in 2 feet of water.

Just a thought.
