Re: [electricboats] Grounding.

You could fit an earth plate to the outside of the hull. A square foot of copper with a bronze bolt brazed through it will make a very adequate earth connection. Drill a hole through the hull and seal the bolt through the hole with marine sealant. You may need to drill small holes round the edge of the plate for small screws if there is much curvature in the hull at that point. Connect the bolt to the bonding system internally; this should deal with any earth issues.
