Great idea, never entered my mind. I used to sell electronic components to a company in Alberta that made those cells for the US Army, and as well, I have a "Koolatron" unit sitting here with one of the cells for cooling or heating the inside of the unit. Next thing to do is find out how much power they will generate at what cost. Thanks for the idea.

What about adding Peltier cells under the panel's aluminum backplane working as a heat sink? Peltier type modules produce electrical power from heat or cooling from electrical power. Cost is the main drawback.
