You are correct.

I do not know much about chargers and batteries but dual pro service has been great.
I purchased refurbished unit to cut down on the investment.
I had problems early on that we concluded was charger related.
They replaced the charger no questions asked.
As it turned out the charger response was due to damage to one of my AGM's.
I have no idea how Dual Pro stacks up against others but I have been pleased with performance.

I think i should emphasise that i'm really talking about a FLOAT charge voltage .This is safe for long term maintanance if your charger has this facility or you use a purpose made good quality float charger. A TRICKLE charger may provide too much current. Often the two terms get confused.
