RE: [Electric Boats] Need advice- options for converting an inboard & saildrive

I'm facing the same issue except that my saildrive (OMC) has already been removed, I'm trying not to put back on an outboard. Other than a pod looks like a Torqueedo is my only option. Mastervolt/ Bellman  looks like it might promising but info is hard to come by. Can't get pricing or even a dealer out of them, via email anyway.

Subject: [Electric Boats] Need advice- options for converting an inboard & saildrive

I have a 1979 Ericson 25 ft. Sailboat with a volvo inboard and volvo saildrive. I'm wondering what options I have for conversion to electric other than outboard? I don't have a lot of $ to spend, but can anyone think of an economical way to leverage the hole in the bottom of my boat currently occupied by the sail drive?

Any advice would be appreciated
George
