Re: [electricboats] Time to re-power

Yep, I noted that info and posted it here before.  There is a lot of info that is already available right here in the group.  For example, here's the link to my photo album, just a couple of pics, but the prop pic has the specs and even the model number visible if you look.  https://groups.io/g/electricboats/album?id=190248

I've gone largely quiet here because much of my time is just re-posting the stuff that I've posted before.  Every time we get a new crowd, we get the same questions.  And honestly, there isn't much first hand, objective information in many answers given here.  For a while, there was some significant progress made in figuring out answers to some of the hard questions about boat performance estimates and real battery performance predictions regardless of the chemistry types. But more recently, the answers seem to be more general and anything that works at all is good enough.   My father always said that getting something to work isn't that difficult, getting something to work well is a challenge.  And as Lord Kelvin stated "If you cannot measure it, you cannot improve it".  Most people here are so excited just to get their projects finished (for the few that actually finish them) that most measurements are just offhand observations.  Many who finish are never heard from again.

I'll dig up my performance measurement posts and re-post them again later, but what I ask for in return is for others to take the time to share their quantifiable results with the group.  With more real world information, everybody wins.  It's up to all of us to "pay it forward".
