Thank you, I'm going to put an ammeter on too to help see what's happening....I'm looking for a simple iPad app that will show "average speed over ground" because the rowing stroke pulses come into play if I want to know what the "human power added" does as a comparison to motor only mode. This will be done with the stock propellers.
If can find someone to machine a torqueedo prop to fit the NV, I will do a test with the same two motors once again, with the Torqueedo and report.

If you measure the (electrical) current with the NV prop, and then measure it with the Torqeedo prop, you'll know quite quickly whether the motor is generating more heat or not. If the current is about the same, then so is the load on the motor, and the amount of heat generated.
