[Electric Boats] Reusing 48VDC Components

I've had my Electroprop Racer Plus 48V All Energy in my 10,000 lb C&C 33-1 for a year now and have learned a lot. (Thank you, James Lambden.)
I'm thinking now about transplanting some of that installation into a 18,500 lb 38 foot Shannon.

I figure I'll need a bigger motor and controller and am looking at this:

This would keep things at 48VDC which seems good for a number of reasons:
- Solar panel array and controller are reused (no need to get and mount a third solar panel for higher voltage)
- 48V Battery bank is reused (although could buy more batteries)
- 48 VDC to 12 VDC converters are reused
- AC distribution box is reused as is (has 4 feeds to 12V MasterVolt chargers)
- 4X MasterVolt chargers are reused (could buy more)
- MasterVolt shunt is reused (maybe not tied to 48VDC)

The optimal propeller and motor gear ratio are unknown (to me).

Basically, I'd want to be able to get off the dock and be able to motor through ~20 minutes of difficulty.

Thoughts and comments are much appreciated.
