Thank you because recently I've heard that elsewhere.....as a laymen I would say "why would I buy a second 130 amp hour battery let's say in parallel or series...if a single 130 amp hour battery is going to provide the same amount of juice, and not increase my rowing distances by having two? Please enlighten me because right now I may have a useless 75 pound passenger, and that's no good if it's a power assist rowboat. So ditch the extra battery, if I don't need 24 volts...and go back to the 12v 55 pound trolling motor? And no putting back to parallel ..do I get to enjoy increased ampacity with either parallel or series configurations?
The high end electrical systems I hear(and enjoy) you all talk about must be in stark contrast to what I'm trying to understands! 101. I much appreciate your input, all this time thinking the extra battery was doubling my rowing distance?
