For a one off transaction, Ali express is a better than Alibaba. There is also a money back warranty with Aliexpress like Ebay I am very happy with Aliexpress. I just got a new solar panel replacement 4 years after the transaction. There is a 5-25 years warranty on the panel.

PS: Don't know where you found 2000w for the Torquedo, I phoned in Germany, there are not specification on the motors ( 24v and 48v)…. It is secret!!.

 You mean that you need to draw 85 amps from your battery!!! Amazing.

And I read previously on electricboats@yahoogroups.com that the 24v Torquedo outboard does not chew weeds!!.... that is 500w motor I think

The nice thing about electric is that all you really need for remote
control is a little fabrication, some wire and a pot(throttle).
