Re: [Electric Boats] motor speed controller

I used one of these
http://kellycontroller.com/kds48100e100a24v-48v-mini-brushed-controller-p-285.html

I was using it to drive a treadmill motor at 15 amps  48 volts.
Motor was too slow, it should be running at 96 volts.

I am also installing a golf cart motor in my boat now.
motor is 36 Volt rated at 40 amps max.
I plan on using this controller

My boat is a 16 ft boat

Will probably have it in the water next weekend.
Will post some pictures in the water.

You might look into robotics motor controls.
