[Electric Boats] RE: FW: Duffy....?

 

The QuietTorque 20.0 (formerly the QuietTorque 360) actually has two controllers.  They work together and the motors can run independently if either one of the motors or controllers go out.  The Electric Yacht control module works with both controllers and provides monitoring and programing of the systems from the helm.

I am wondering if it is possible to run 2 identical DC motors from the same controller.
Part of me says it should be OK, but I also think they may fight each other and waste power.
The concept would be 2 90 volt DC motors attached end to end and then to the drive of my boat.
