The system is a 100ibl with a 200 amp agm bank. The only numbers I have don't mean much. The first time I ran the system the boat did not have all our gear onboard. At this point we got 3.5 knots at 18 amps and a brief run at 65 amps gave us 4.7 knots. With our liveaboard gear on board this dropped to 3 knots at 20 amps and about 4 at 55 amps. We are going to change the gearing this winter so we can get the full 100 amps.
I should mention that our battery bank is 2 100 amp pasks in parallel. This is what allowed us to be able to charge from a 1000 watt generator. The Alberg is a easy hull to drive. 8 knot winds already give us 5+ knots off the wind. The blog should catch up to us fairly soon. We are now in Toronto. Richard.

>Could you tell us more about your system? I see you have an Electric Yacht system, but which? what size battery bank(s), etc. And if you have it, performance data? Your boat is similar to ours, which we are designing for.
