We have finished a trip from Halifax Nova Scotia to Toronto Ontario up the St Lawrence river. A combination of sailing,motor sailing and motoring. We never planned on this trip when we went electric but we mamaged it with only a Honda 1000 generator for charging. Only had to run the agm pack down to 3% once. Not recomemded but it was not avoidable due to the current and the need to get to an anchor spot. We have a blog at www.sailingintotheblue.blogspot.com
