That's interesting. Here I thought I was the only one. I had the same experience with a dead battery on a new Torqueedo. I was near a dealer but due to time constraints had to go gas to be able to make a race start. To add insult to injury the gas tank tipped over and leaked all over the cabin during the race (mini 650 sail). Getting the store to test the torqueedo battery pack before taking it home might be a good policy.
