[Electric Boats] Re: Torqeedo Deep Blue 80 hp outboard

Hi Mike,
I just delivered the Deep Blue powered Zodiac to the dock at the show, what a great ride! It was my first time seeing and running this system in the flesh. The power and response was very impressive.

To answer your questions: The Deep Blue product is not limited to 2 companies. I guess you could say that it is limited to proper applications, and at this point Torqeedo has partnered with Zodiac and Edgewater (in FL) to integrate into there product line. These 2 OEM's have invested time and money to make this a part of their future. As other opportunities arise that can show the benefits of this system they will be considered, and if things look good move on from there.

For specifics please call me.
Best,
Capt. Todd Sims

I have been thinking of about the system and can only see it in a very small specialized application or integrated into a serial hybrid application.
