I wonder that, too. I've queried the Elco folks, asking if the prop is some sort of standard mount (it appears pretty conventional). I'd like to play with pitch and possibly diameter if possible.

What were you planning to do for your battery pack?

For proof of concept testing, and then as a "backup / get home" option after you get your main bank, you might consider a 30AH 48V e-bike battery.   

I own a Ping 48v 20AH LiFePo4 ebike battery that I intend to carry for backup...
