It was great to see the Gheenoe performance information. We have not had an electric motor boat post in some time.
There is a great opportunity to see the performance of a variety of electric motor boats on October 4 at St. Michaels, MD. If you have a boat that will do 25 miles in less than 6 hours, please consider entering. There are many more classes this year so those with lead acid batteries and trolling motors will not be going head to head with the higher power or the very long boats. Even if you are not racing to win, as many do not, it is a wonderful time to spend with other electric boat enthusiasts and enjoy the beauty of the Maryland seashore.
