I always raise a fuss when I mention this but I believe the Torqeedo Travel 801 is a better choice for a displacement hull than the Travel 1003. The 801 has a two stage gear reduction and so can drive a bigger prop than the 1003 which has a single stage reduction gear. Also the 801 has a battery adapter so you can use an external battery bank for more capacity. Thanks. Steve S.
