Todd Kollin, the President of Electric Motorsport, Inc., does not make these kits. They are made by the Engineering department with harnesses made at a ISO9001 facility. These low cost systems are only the main electrical and electronic components and do not include mounting brackets or gear reductions. The electronic components do come pre-wired, tested, timed, tuned, and calibrated. These systems come with either the 20 (ME1012) or 28 (ME0913) turn motor depending on the application. Documentation for Electric Motorsport Inc. drive systems is always available on our website or by special request.
After reviewing our records it seams every email Mr Robert Nichols sent was replied to within 24hours. The ElectricMotorsport.com Tech and Engineering departments are available to support any and all customers. Mr. Nichols report is not saying there was anything wrong with the electric drive system. He only had some problems with screws coming loose within the ME1012 motor. This is an issue with some ME0913 and ME1012 motors. Electric Motorsport, Inc. now upgrades all of ME0913 and ME1012 motors with reinforced internal hardware to ensure this does not happen.
Mr. Nichols current replacement motor did not come from Electric Motorsport, Inc. so he still does not have the re-enforced motor. Electric Motorsport, Inc. stands behind its products and responds to most support inquiries within 24 hours.
