I tried Putty as well but didn’t have much luck with it. Probably user issues, I’m not very good with this kind of stuff.

Thanks! I'm going try using an on CTX windows 98 laptop first. Would be nice to "recycle" the old computor for a useful purpose on board. But I will keep Putty in mind too.

Putty is free and will do serial comm.
