Alex Piper's boat Watt's Happening:

has a new home in Conway, SC. It completed an arduous voyage of 950 miles (on a trailer) through hurricane conditions (roads in Washington, DC) and the doldrums (roads in SC). The boat arrived in good condition. A few cracks appeared where Alex had attached new woodwork to the existing hull. I think this was due to old springs on the trailer and a really bad batch of bumps on I-84 in Hartford, CT. The trailer voyage will definitely be more stressful than cruising in the Waccamaw River.
Alex had a little work to do on the controllers to make it more controllable, and has offered some pointers. Hopefully it will be ready for the water by Spring.
