Re: [Electric Boats] Outboard in lazertt

Hi Bob;

It is inspirational to read your posts. I am 49 years old.
I have no slip, not tow vechicle, no boat, yet.
I have a bit of understanding about electricity, and basic science.
I like to build things with my own hands. I like useful things.
English is not my native language. I have a US citizen passport.
I live close to Dana Point Harbor, California, USA.
Where are you about?

Sincerely;

Gabe

Runs great with no sign of water in the oil.
All my commonsense says change out the motor since is out of the boat now.

I am putting a golf cart GE 1.5 hp motor wth golf cart controler in. Should Push boat around harbor 2/3 K.

My 28 ft Cal had an  outboard well where the lazerett is in my colombia.
have a low hour 15 hp long shaft Gamefisher which pushes the boat at hull speed.

PLANNING ON MOUNTING ENGINE IN A MOTOR WELL IN THE LAZERETT
HAS ANYONE DONE THIS????

I am 71 y/O Professional skipper
My strength and coordination does not allow me to safely lift the motor over the transom and my common sense experience is not keeping me from doing the logical thing like not sigle handling the boat.

Boat on a trailer.

Am offering to give use of my boat to an individual who has a slip or secure parking for boat trailer and tow vehicle
