I hope that many of you who live in Southern California might join us in
a little run to the Border. "The Border Run" is going to put together a
special cruiser group for electric sailboats. The race is scheduled to
begin from Newport Beach on Saturday March 10 and ending in San Diego on
Sunday. Details of the program for electric sailors are being worked
out but will include special awards. We had a great time last year at
the Skipper's sendoff party in Newport and the awards event at the
Silver Gate Yacht Club in San Diego.

XS Racing is raising money for THREE charities. The three charities
are: 1) C2S (City2Sea) helps preserve the future of our oceans that we
all sail on, 2) C2S helps promote the sport of sailing to a local new
generation of sailors and 3) LLS (Leukemia Lymphoma Society) helps
fight blood cancers including skin cancer.
