[Electric Boats] Re: electric fork lift dc motor

 

48vdc is the standard for larger off-grid homes and ranches. This is converted to AC rather than used to run lights and appliances. Although some have 48vdc to 12vdc converters to run some house lights, fans, and/or other appliances near the battery box. So most solar/wind companies sell 48vdc equipment (chargers/inverters/etc.) A 48vdc mppt charger will get you more total watts from a solar array.
