[Electric Boats] Re: My eboat ready to launch

 

Most stuff I've read states "...flat sea, no current". Current is presumably as simple as deducting that from your speed, ie a it current means 8f there's a foul 2kt current, your 3kt speed is 1kt SOG, or if you want 3ktSOG you need to do 5kt through the water.

However, has anyone got any example data of the effects of wind and/or waves?

How might the above example of Catalina + flat sea + 5kt =80A look if it was Catalina + moderate sea + 5kt =XA

Flat water figures are useful for comparing things, but of limited value in trying to assess viability of the conversion.
