[Electric Boats] Re: Mirage 29

I've looked at I've been looking into this for our 26' Centaur and have exactly the same question: around 5hrs @ 5kt. I have been compiling my next post. However I am concluding that we would struggle to accommodate enough FLA and can't run to LiFePO4. I had a quote and a 200Ah pack (not sure if prismatic - LiYuan) was over $3100 from China direct so over $6k for batteries alone plus everything else. Our budget is around £5k, the cost of a new Beta.
48V of 2V deep-cycle long-life forklift batteries would weigh 980kg! Haven't yet got as far as 12v batteries yet, but can weigh a lot less.
What is not clear is that how much of the 10kW one would need: 400Ah is based on 10kW. If it only takes 5kW to drive the hull at 5kts, then range is doubled/battery capacity requirement is halved.
