[Electric Boats] hydro generator

 

This is something I saw at the Strictly Sail boat show that looks interesting http://www.wattandsea.com/index_en.php

These units are optimized for low drag, I'm thinking a hydro generator like this designed at 48 volts with a larger prop....

I like that you pull it out of the water when you do not need it.
