Re: [Electric Boats] Re: BP oil spill, one year later... why are we into electric boats?

Tim:

It's a simple 12 volt system using all off the self components. Mornigstar Sunlight controller and tined marine grade wire along with a 75 watt solar panel and a 35 AH AGM battery. The LED's are 6 LED disks with G4 connector bases that plug into sockets I bought on Ebay. I also use a BEBE Beka light for one room. Anderson Powerpole connectors for some interconnections. There are no switches as the purpose is to be light the areas dusk to dawn and since there are no costs beyond the installed cost so really no need to have switches at least for now.

Mike,

What voltage are your LED lights running at? What are you using for
switches, fixtures and bulbs? We just bought a house and will be moving
at the end of the school year - I'll be rewiring with LED lighting then
installing passive solar space and water heating ASAP.

TIA.
