Re: [Electric Boats] Prop pitch for regeneration

So you have a fast boat with barnacles on the bottom. Is it still fast? Well it could be if you have enough sail.

It's not just about moving boat but about overcoming the drag of the( log /generator ). The sail and rigging will also need to be beefed up to handle the increased power requirements the generator will require.

After that, the prop should be designed with The lift on the other side of the blade for Generation rather than thrust.

Put The world's scientists on the project and a compromise at best will come of the project.

Sorry nature and physics will not yield to the desires of man.

Suppose you had a fast sailboat, and didn't need more than just slow speed maneuvering from electric propulsion.  What would be the size and pitch to maximize regeneration?
