I plan to separate the speed control from a Minnkota trolling motor so it can be mounted forward at the steering wheel location. Are there any issues sending the PWMed power through 10-12 feet of a pair of #4 cables? Shield them? Twist them? No pacemakers in the crew? I'm OK with I = E/R, but transients are beyond me.
