I appreciate that well traveled kW data about 5.5kts 3kW 62Amps.

 

Really nice blog on the install.

 

From what I am finding in laymans terms:

- 48VDC spins these motors more slowly.

- So they don't make the advertised 15kW

- But they are still the best thing going for DC motors, and they move boats reliably
