Re: [Electric Boats] chargers for high amp-hour 6v batteries

I discovered a book, Energy Unlimited by Reinout Vader, that is the most concise and comprehensive book I've found for using battery based energy systems on boats.

I have been charging six 12v Interstate batteries [ 36V system; series and parallel configuration] with two ProMariner ProTournament chargers.  The batteries are shot, and I"m intrigued by the conversations I've seen here suggesting high Amp-hour Golf Cart batteries [Thanks "king of New Orleans" for your detailed posts!].

However, the ProMariner folks say their chargers cannot charge 6 V batteries with those high amp-hour capacities.

What chargers could you all recommend, that would work in charging the bank of six 6V batteries I'd need to get to 36V? And,  I presume the configuration would be 6 batteries in series now?

Thanks to you all.
Mike.
