I originally built a platform over the original engine stringers: GOING ELECTRIC PART 15: Securing the battery platform


It worked well but, getting to the one battery that was off set was awkward for ease of servicing. Last year I built an extension with angle iron for that battery and now have them in line for ease of servicing:

Yes, very good advice. I wish the steering wasn't in the way. Be nice to use the underneath of the cockpit for additional support. I will put up picks this weekend if the location I'm thinking of.
