Oh another thing. If you go with golf cart batteries you will want lifting straps. Trojan makes a dandy one, flat flexible rubber with a double claw of stout wire at each end that hooks into a bracket at each end of the battery that is made for just such a lifting device. Having a handle that quickly attaches to a battery really helps a lot. Golf cart batteries weigh in the neighborhood of 85 lbs each and don't come with handles. You will want a quality hydrometer, too, and a terminal crimper.
