If you go to your local electric contractor,he will have the stuff you need and most likely will not charge you much if you have all the supplies. They use electric grease in the connection. And use a very good crimper. Then heat shrink the connection.


 

Hello All. I have six 8v batteries in my boat. I made cables from Ancor 4 gage cable 4 years ago. looks like I need to replace some of them since they show signs of heat and corrosion. So before I make up new ones, I would like to ask what procedures you all use to assemble cables. Thank you in advance!
