[Electric Boats] PETROL ENGINE VS ELECTRIC ENGINE

PETROL ENGINE VS ELECTRIC ENGINE

I fixed 4 years ago an AC20 / 650amps with LIFEPO4 batteries on my boat….Very happy with that. No body came on board to repair, no maintenance, no service.

Fix it…. Forget it!

The plate from HPEVs on the motor says "Rated 7hp", The AC20 has a peak output of 35hp at 2800 rpm with a maximum Torque around 80 Ft. Lbs at low rpm between 0 to 2000rpm.

I had a Buell 1200cc ( Extreme Racing motorbike from Harley Davidson). The street model had 100hp maxi output at 6600RPM with 80 Ft. Lbs  maxi torque at 6000RPM

Yes, the same torque than the 7hp electric motor.

Should I write that 1 electric HP matches 14.2 petrol HP?

What will be the figures with a diesel HP?
