The newer Quattros also have a lithium profile, you might want to see what the defaults are there for comparison, I find Victron usually has very good defaults. I don't use absorption the charger will stop when the batteries are charged. Absorption mode is needed to equalize Lead acid batteries, lithium chemistries are full and done once they reach "full" voltage. The BMS should do any equalizing with Lithium chemistry's. If your Quattro is an older model that only has lead profiles, Just set the absorption setting to the lowest possible.

that is very helpful information! Having someone with a similar system that can relate to my situation is great. So, to summarize what you said:

1) Set the Quattro to float the LiFePO4 pack at 3.33 VPC, or 53.4 V overall.
2) Set the Quattro an absorption level of 3.5 VPC, or 56 V overall.
3) Set the Quattro to stop drawing from the pack at 2.625 VPC, or 42 V overall. I'd have to decide on my DC converters about disabling them as that would take out navigation systems.
4) Set the BMS to tell the Quattro to stop charging at 3.56 VPC, or 56.96 V overall.
5) I'm like you, I won't let low pack voltage kill power to the motor controllers. I'll sacrifice the pack for my safety.
6) The BMS takes care of balancing the cells.

What setting do you use to tell the charger to switch from absorption to float?

Does anyone have any comments about floating a LiFePO4 pack at 3.33 VPC for months on end?
