48v ELECTRIC OUTBOARD

 

I got the battery from Ebay.com (US). The seller is Vpower. Carbon fiber box with on/off switch, plugs for DC in and DC out.  It come with the charger and bag ( not waterproof!). This is a battery pack for electric bike.

The outboard is from AliExpress, Brand HANGKAI, electric 48v models. The seller was "perfect power machine" Good English, good communication. You will find others.

The outboard DC plug is the same than the battery pack output… so no need to change anything.. Install, plug and go!!  Care the throttle arm rotates 360d, So, it fell it in the water…still working!

The outboard rotate 180d for reverse. For the catamarans, a switch on the electric poles should give reverse/steering if controller can….. good fun

Fred, what are the models of the outboard and battery you purchased? Is the battery for an electric bicycle/scooter, or aimed at the marine market? Sounds very interesting. Enjoy!
