Thanks for the info. Sounds like a good setup, and probably easier than dealing with wiring on a boat! I'll try it out on the kid's backyard playhouse before doing inside the house.

Slightly OT: I've been reading your blog from time to time. Do you know of any public anchorages around Throgs Neck and/or Sandy Hook? And what's the best tide to go through Hell Gate from LI Sound to NY harbor? My boat may be going down south to some friends. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to finish the EP conversion, so she'll do powered with an OB :(
