[Electric Boats] Re: electric planing skiff rev2

 

Well, if (big if) we do Wye island, it won't be in this little rig! And I'm pretty sure if I attempted it I'd need a tow for the last 5 miles or so. Still, it's a lot of fun and it's the fastest I have ever been in an eboat.

The entry level boat will be Parsun powered/tiller steer, and the upgraded model will be the Torqeedo powered/remote steer along with other tweaks. This boat would absolutely be a candidate for some LiPo batteries, but it's tough enough selling an up market AGM these days, so I think I'll wait on the real expensive stuff.

Are you bringing the new boat to Wye Island this year?
