Lincoln City's a great little visit hole, Kilos or not. Mom used to
drag us to the Oregon coast regularly as kids in the '40s and '50s
and Lincoln City was a favorite. Three of the five races our Oregon
counterpart CORA presents are on coastal lakes. one of those, Cullaby
Lake, is located between Astoria and Seaside, and a highlight of the
weekend following Saturday's schedule is and evening of racers
beating on one another in bumpercars at Seaside.
Oregon DOT lets you assemble a custom traffic cam page, and I use
these to check traffic and weather conditions as events come up. My
Lincoln City set has camera views from each end of town plus a camers
at Valley Junction, about mid-way between Portland and the coast. I
