I don't know where you are, but there are a few options, but none are cheap. You can look at http://www.bogartengineering.com/ and their TriMetric battery monitor. You should be able to be operational for around $200. For a cleaner, instrument panel look, look for the TBS Electronics e-xpert pro-hv. The "hv" version works with 48v without a prescaler.

You can find plenty of digital volt meters and ammmeters, but adding the ability to calculate amp hours complicates the process. Most meters like the Xantrex LinkLite or LinkPro are built for 12v or 24v only.
