Get good marine cable.  You want fine strand, fully tinned cable.  When I did my conversion, the best prices that I found were from www.genuinedealz.com
I did all of my main power connections in 2/0 cable.  After all you’ve spent on your drive system and batteries, don’t cheap out on your cabling.
