Re: [electricboats] Battery Cables?

So I went with 2/0 from Greg's Marine which was overkill but hey why not. Well it cost me a week waiting for a crimper big enough to handle it. But I have some super fat overbuilt battery cables. Just keep in mind that if you decide to go all Tim the toolman Taylor on your cable you won't be able to go down to good old Harbor Freight for the crimpers.

Gauge is determined by a combination of amps, bundling, temperature, length of the cable, and voltage drop.
